Business Lawyers Oregon
Andrew has been an attorney since 2005, and has worked in the legal industry since 2000. Prior to starting this firm, he worked for two years for a trial judge in Chicago, Illinois, and later worked in private practice for another five years for a national law firm that focused on securities litigation and regulation. As part of that practice, he counseled broker and broker-dealer clients on SEC, FINRA and other securities laws, and also served as outside in-house counsel to a number of smaller broker-dealer firms based on the West Coast.
Andrew developed his own niche practice in offering transactional legal services to entrepreneurs and small businesses, helping clients start up and expand their businesses, establish trademarks, draft contracts, and generally assisting those clients in many of the other legal issues that small businesses encounter on a daily basis. Knowing that numerous other businesses needed assistance with these types of legal services, he decided to focus his practice on this niche area and open up Northwest Corporate Law LLC in 2013.
Unlike many other business lawyers, Andrew has an in depth understanding of not only corporate law, but also complex securities laws. He also has started up and run an entirely separate company, and personally participated in the entire life cycle of that company — he formed, managed, and eventually sold part of it off.

Outside of work Andrew tries to spend as much time as possible being active outdoors, whether skiing in the winter, hiking and camping in the summer, and generally being an avid runner year round. He is a product tester for Nike running shoes.
Andrew has served on the board of a local nonprofit that offers water relief services in Ghana, and, during 2011-2012, served as a volunteer through Catholic Charities’ Portland refugee resettlement program, through which he taught English courses to a refugee family from Myanmar.
Since becoming a lawyer, Zac has devoted his time to advising new and growing businesses on legal matters. He joined Northwest Corporate Law after practicing complex business law at two global law firms: Skadden Arps in New York and K&L Gates in Portland. He has counseled companies through mergers and acquisitions, series investment rounds and joint development projects. Zac brings in-depth experience in a wide array of matters including intellectual property licensing, trade secrets litigation, nonprofit tax exemption and international commercial contracting for the delivery of products, services and SaaS.
Zac provides reliable and sensible advice, whether his client is a new company working to find its footing, or a growing company taking the next step. He develops uncomplicated legal solutions in the areas of organization, governance, investment and third-party contracting with one goal in mind: freeing up entrepreneurs so they can focus on building and expanding their businesses.
Zac is admitted to practice in Oregon and New York.

Anthony has practiced law since 2005 when he and Andrew worked the trial courts in Chicago together. In 2007, Anthony moved home to California and joined a “lifestyle” firm focused on business and intellectual property litigation. Learning that “lifestyle” translated to maintaining the partners’ lifestyle, Anthony set up his own practice a year later concentrating on trademarks, copyrights, and IP litigation specifically aimed at small, growing businesses that were traditionally priced out of hiring effective counsel.
Anthony serves as litigation and trademark counsel for Northwest Corporate Law. Like many of this firm’s clientele, Anthony runs a small shop with a national footprint. He is admitted to practice in the State and Federal courts of both California and Illinois, and has appeared pro hac vice in litigation matters in Kansas and Tennessee. Anthony has represented clients in various Trademark Trial Appeal Board matters and has advised clients on international business disputes involving companies in Germany, Japan, and the Ukraine. Anthony has advised clients and filed trademarks spanning three continents, and he remains an active member of the International Trademark Association.
M.P.W. 2002 University of Southern California
B.A. 1999 California State University, Dominguez Hills
Anthony holds a Master of Professional Writing degree from the University of Southern California, so he continues to look for ways to combine his professional practice with creative individuals and innovative organizations. Anthony serves on the board of directors for the Vietnamese-American Arts and Letters Association, hosts of the annual Viet Film Fest in Southern California.
When he is not working, Anthony can usually be found chaperoning his three children around to their numerous and never-ending activities. At the end of the day, Anthony loves nothing more than to enjoy a glass of wine and some conversation with his wife, family and friends.
